Pool Party, August 2007.
Well as we all know, the Dane is not really noted for being a water babe, infact many shy away rather than even test out the possibilities. Here at Apollodane Great Danes we feel water exercise is by far the best option for our Danes from puppy through to adult, all really enjoying their days in the pool. We start them as young as 6 weeks old, just slowly getting used to the water until they are happy to go it alone. Then what we get is the bold steps taken as shown in the video and we hope you like it.

that was super!!!! and unique! What a great fun for your danes. Please send many, many others of those wonderful videos.
Recently I looked a video (I will send you the link separately): a man had drilled his 4 lovely beautiful adult danes to wait on their food - these poor creatures - and when he gave the command they were allowed to eat. I was wondering they had now knife and fork to eat. I hated this video but what a luck I found an other video there that was titled: Answer on …..danes waiting on their food.
Blue Great Danes were running and jumping in a river and through a forest.
You can also send your video as a best answer to that cruel drill-video.

What a wonderful movie and terific to see Danes having such fun. I really wish that i had a pool for my two reprobates Cheney Billy-Bob and Cheney Magic as i am sure Billy-Bob particulalry would love it as the nearest he gets to water is playing with a hose!!

It took two hours to download video ( I have dial-up connection) but it was worth every minute of waiting to see how your puppy enjoying playing and swimming in pool. I always say you can’t compare dane that is sitting all day in the kennel to dane that is part of your family.

Did they kill the shark I could see on the bottom of the pool? You are very cruel showing me this while it is cold and raining here.

How I enjoyed watching all the babies in the pool video. They don’t just jump in, they actually do a racing dive when they enter the water. They are all so enthusiastic and happy in the pool together. What a wonderful life they have with you both. They are growing so big and strong and their structure looks amazing.
